Mountains of India for record, describe and share group and personal differences
in our physiological ability to adapt to a hypoxic environment at 16,000 feet.
Besides, gain a new perspective for understanding how other cultures work and
how people work in a group by covering places like Gangtok-5500 ft, Tsomgo Lake
-3800 m, Sachen -2620 m, Tshoka-3005 m, Dzongri-4030 m, Thangsing-3800 m, Samiti
Lake -4223 m, Goechala-I-4940 m.& II -16000 ft, Pelling, Uttare and Darjeeling.
For Reference :-
Day 01. Arrival at Delhi/Calcutta International Airport
and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02. Delhi -Bagdogra Airport. On arrival, 4 hrs. drive
to Gangtok,o/n Hotel.
Day 03. Gangok sightseeing, o/n Hotel.
Day 04. Training and Gangtok S/S.
Day 05. Tsomgo Lake -3,800 m. for acclimatisation ( an
option to ride a Yak), o/n Hotel.
Day 06. Yuksam and via Norbugangy and oldest Dubdi
monastery, o/n Hotel.
Day 07 to 16. Trekking.
Day 17. Pelling via Khecheopalri, Pemayangtse, Rabdentse
palace Ruins, o/n Hotel.
Day 18. Drive to Kalimpong via visiting- Uttare - Base
Camp of Singalila Trek and
visit Shingshore Bridge -2nd highest in Asia, Jorethang,
Day 19. Kalimpong sightseeing, o/n Hotel
Day 20 Drive to Darjeeling and visit Himalayan
Mountaineering Institute, Zological
Park, Tibetan Carpet Industry, etc. and evening walk at
Chaurasta, o/n Hotel.
Day 21. Early morning drive to Tiger Hill for Sunrise
over mountain ranges and on return
visit Batasia, Ghoom Manastery. Afternoon free for
Day 22. Drive to bagdogra Airport for Delhi/Calcutta.
